Our slushie machines are very popular for birthday parties, weddings, community group and corporate events. You may know this product as slush machine, slushy machine, frozen cocktail machine, granita machine, daiquiri machine, margarita machine. You can hire this item for kids parties or add alcohol to the mix for cocktails.

Requirements
- The machine requires 1 regular power outlet
- The slushie machines are heavy and should ideally be placed on a sturdy timber or steel table or a counter top. The machine is too high to be placed under overhead cabinets on a kitchen bench but apart from that, indoor or outdoor kitchen benches can be a good option. You can add a steel bench to your online booking above if you don’t have anything suitable.
- These can be used as cocktails or mocktails. We do not supply the alcohol, just the base flavour. Most people add 1L of alcohol per flavour although you can add between 700ml and 1400ml per flavour. A strong alcohol such as Tequila may taste better at the lower end of that range.
Refills
One refill adds another 60 x 200ml serves for one tank. Refills should ideally be the same flavours you have already chosen as you will need to top up the tank in small batches throughout the event.

When does the alcohol need to be added?
The alcohol can be added any time. It just takes approx 15 minutes to stir through the mix.
*This machine may be supplied with a combination of single machines to make up the 2 total slushie tanks.

Where can I put a slushie machine and what on?
The slushie machines are heavy and should ideally be placed on a sturdy timber or steel table or a counter top. The machine is too high to be placed under overhead cabinets on a kitchen bench but apart from that, indoor or outdoor kitchen benches can be a good option. The machines are approx 80cm high. The single machines need a space of approximately 50cm deep and 25cm wide. The double machines need a space of approximately 50cm deep and 45cm wide. The triple machines need a space of approximately 50cm deep and 65cm wide. You can add a steel bench on the booking form if you don’t have anything suitable.
Slushie Machine Weights:

Plastic folding trestle tables are not ideal as the plastic table top will flex quite a bit.
The machines make a fair bit of white noise so outdoors is optimal but inside will be ok if it's your only option.
How long does the slushie machine take to freeze?
This is a difficult question to answer as it depends on many factors. You can plan on a freeze time of approximately 1-2 hours. The actual freeze time varies and depends on the individual machine and our delivery and setup methods. Please enter your actual event start time in the checkout page and we will supply our service in a way that works for that event start time. If you have selected a delivery time that won't work for your event start time, we'll let you know.
How much alcohol needs to be added to a cocktail slushie mix?
These can be used as cocktails or mocktails. We do not supply the alcohol, just the base flavour. Most people add 1L of alcohol per flavour/tank although you can add between 700ml and 1400ml per flavour/tank. A strong alcohol such as Tequila may taste better at the lower end of that range.
When does the alcohol need to be added to a slushie cocktail mix?
You can add alcohol to the slushie mix any time although it will freeze faster if you add the alcohol to the mix after it has already frozen. You can add the alcohol any time after it is frozen and it takes approximately 15 minutes to stir through the mix.
Is the equipment available for my event date?
You can navigate to the individual product page, select the product options and the hire start date to check availability and place a booking. The website won't allow an unavailable date to be booked.
How do I book?
Navigate to the item(s) in the store that you would like to book, choose from any required options and click add to cart.
Go to the shopping cart, double check the item(s) and options and proceed to the checkout page.
Enter your details, choose from the available delivery and collection options, payment methods and complete the booking.
A confirmation email and tax invoice will be sent to you immediately. Please check your spam/junk folders for it and add us to your safe senders list in your email software.
You can log in to your account to check the booking details.

You will hear from us at the appropriate time with delivery and collection notifications send by email and sms.
How does payment work?
Bookings require a 30% non-refundable deposit. You can also choose to pay in full at the time of booking, just select this option on the checkout page.
The remainder/balance of the booking amount is due on or before delivery. You can log in to the website to pay this beforehand or pay the deliver driver on delivery.
You can cancel any time before delivery for any reason. The deposit will not be refunded for any reason.
If you have paid in full and you cancel the booking before delivery, 70% will be refunded.
How does delivery and collection work?
All hire items are delivered to and collected from your shipping address. No warehouse pickups are available.
When you get to the checkout page, you will be able to tell us your event start time and choose from the available delivery and collection options.
Event Start Time
Please give us the actual start time of your event so we can make sure you receive an appropriate delivery timeslot. This is not a delivery time.
Delivery
- Flexible Delivery (Free Delivery) - Delivery wherever you fit in our schedule. This could be on the day or the day before.
- Need Same Day Delivery ($22) - Delivery wherever you fit in our schedule and allows enough setup time.
- Need Specific Delivery Window ($55) - Choose delivery date and 1 hour delivery window.
Collection
- Flexible Collection (Free Collection) - Collection wherever you fit in our schedule. This could be the day after your event or a couple of days later.
- Need Specific Collection Window ($55) - Choose collection date and 1 hour collection window.
Notifications
- We will send you an email and an sms message with a 1 hour delivery and/or collection window. This notification is sent out the day before delivery or collection day.
